Veedersburg - March 23 --William J. PITHOUD, 73, lifelong resident of Fountain County, died at the home of relatives in Danville, Ill Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Death followed an illness of several years. The deceased was born in Fountain County December 9, 1858, the son of James and Elvira Pithoud. He was united in marriage on September 11, 1888, to Inez Bowerman, whose death occurred 35 years ago. Mr. Pithoud was a member of the Methodist Church. The deceased was a plasterer by trade and had spent most of his life in Veedersburg. The survivors are one son, Cluste Pithoud of Danville, a sister, Mrs. Steb Booe of Hillsboro and two brothers, Jacob Pithoud of Bement, Ill and Harry Pithoud, Danville, Ill. The funeral services will be held at the Hillsboro Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon. Burial will take place in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.
